A music visualizer for OBS that's just a URL

No plugin, nothing to download or keep updated. Paste one address into a Browser Source and your stream gets a live ASCII visualizer that reacts to whatever OBS is playing.

Preview the OBS output

Set it up in three steps

  1. In OBS, open Sources → + → Browser.
  2. Set the URL to https://spectra.obeskay.com/?obs=1 and the width and height to your canvas (for example 1920 × 1080).
  3. Tick Control audio via OBS, so the visualizer follows your stream audio instead of a microphone.

The ?obs=1 flag hides the dock, the start screen and the film grain, leaving only the visual.

DGlyph density, from fine 9px to chunky 28px

Why a browser source instead of a plugin

Price

Free, with every scene and unlimited use, no account. The free OBS output carries a small SPECTRA.OBESKAY.COM mark in the corner. SPECTRA Pro is a one-time MX$279 (about US$15), with no subscription: it removes the mark from the OBS output and from recordings, and covers commercial use.
